ADOPTION
More than children in the New England foster care system are waiting to be adopted.

Together
We can make a difference.
With so many children in the child welfare system waiting for a long-term, permanent home, adoptive families need to be raised up in the church and our local communities RIGHT NOW. We all desire that every child would have a safe & supported family to care for them. Ideally, as often as possible, that family is a child's family of origin. In the meantime, there is an URGENT need for more temporary foster families and permanent adoptive families. We believe the Church has a unique call and opportunity to lead the way in meeting this need.
WHAT CAN DO?
You
1.ADOPT or FOSTER.
If just one or two people or families in each church would adopt, there would be more than enough families to meet the need.

Email us with questions. We would love to talk.
2.ENCOURAGE & SUPPORT.
Not everyone CAN or SHOULD foster or adopt. We get it! BUT many of those who can't provide direct care COULD support & encourage those who do... or even others in the foster care community. There are many organized or organic ways to support foster and adoptive families, bio families, youth in foster care and those at risk of aging out.

If you are interested in engaging your church in organized wrap around support of adoptive & foster families or would like to talk about ways you can support youth and families, please reach out!
3.PRAY!
We must consistently pray for children awaiting adoption and those affected by foster care including children, biological families, foster and adoptive families and professionals.
Our daily email delivers prayer prompts for the foster care community and a specific child in need of adoption!
If you would like to help your church pray more intentionally for the foster care community, we've assembled prayer guides from respected orgs that may be helpful.
4.MOBILIZE YOUR CHURCH.
November is National Adoption Month. Every year we create a resource to help guide churches to create awareness around the need for adoptive families, cast vision for how the church can make a difference and provide ways for your community engage. Send us an email and we will send you the free PDF!

5.GIVE!
You can help provide safe & supported families for children impacted by foster care. Your generosity...
-
raises up new foster and adoptive families
-
supports bio, kinship foster and adoptive families
-
equips caregivers and many others with evidence-based, high-level trauma-informed training
-
engages volunteers in service and support to the foster care community
